Mighty Macbeth M5 Synthesizer
YouTube via REwire.
"Powerful Semi-Modular 3 Osc Analog Synth. It takes a Big Man to to play a Big Synth with a Big Sound! OK, two out of three ain't bad. The Spring Reverb is massive. Thing this big needs some abuse to shake that spring! Looks like my Arp2600 but it sounds a lot like my Minimoog with way more options."

ReplyDeleteSounds like only a synth (modular)Darth Vader would play.
ReplyDelete... speaking of which, I noticed that www.macbethstudiosystems.com domain now points to a domain parking page of sorts. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteShake it like ya mean it!

ReplyDeleteThat doesn't sound good for biz...!
oh, man, this is coolness.
ReplyDeletethe M5 slays, this video blows.
ReplyDeleteIs that Darth Dan? It sounds freakin awesome.
ReplyDeletedon't know how wise it is to be smacking hi-end electronics around..
ReplyDeletea masterpiece of subtlety
ReplyDeleteHigh end electronics? It's expensive but all 70's technology. Anyway, Ken Macbeth himself told me to smack it, it's his fault. Plus, there's mass dead air in there, it can take it! The dents will be from love!
ReplyDeleteI guess if Ken say's it's ok, then slap it silly. It certainly looks alot bigger than I thought. Thanks for posting !

ReplyDeletei love how some ungrateful people complain about it when someone takes the time to do something for them. where are YOUR videos, anonymous?
Every once in a while there are a few video's here that are pretty sucky,,i usually refrain from critisism unless it truly blows.
ReplyDeleteThis video won't win any awards but it is enjoyable and is appreciated, don't let the bastards get you down, play on, you've got a neat instrument there!
damn that is a beast! nice vid
