Multi-Touch for Windows?

Odd how this stuff comes in waves. Just below I read on Music Thing about the Loop Arena Multi Touch Console. We know about Reactable and the Lemur. Rumor has it that Microsoft might be announcing PlayTabe, "Microsoft’s 'Milan' multi-touch and gestural interface technology" tomorrow.

"'The idea is to take that (Milan) effort and move it into multiple different environments,' said one of my sources. 'It’s not just for the home. They want to see what kinds of commercial environments' might provide a good home for the multi-touch/gesture-recognition technology, as well."

Yep, I can see some uses for this alright.

Update: It's official. You can find more info here and here, with video, and to the left is an ihref="mage from Gizmodo.
