This particular Obie has a pedigree of its own, which will be made known to the buyer, but due to lack of documentation is not part of the listing."

Wow! A start bid of $1000. What a treat this would be (and burden too). All those SEMS alone would fetch a lot. Wonder if the broken stuff will scare many away but all discrete parts makes it fixable.

ReplyDeleteWrong. The programmer module has lots of rare, custom envelope generator IC chips. Can't buy them anywhere.
Can't replace them with anything else.
There will be no fixing of these frozen marvels of the past. They are all just sculptures, ruins and tombs that shall be preserved in our mourning of what once was...
