Post Images and Site Update

I don't know what the deal is, but the images in my posts are now huge. I'm doing the same thing I always do. Let me know if you like them big or would rather have me try going back tot he smaller images with more room for text on the sides.

Also I changed the number of posts that come up on the front page to 40 from three days worth. To get to the next 40 just click on "Older Posts" on the bottom of the page. I'm trying to alleviate some perf issues people are reporting, and 40 should be plenty.

  2. If you have Photoshop, use "Save for Web" to open up the Imageready export. MUCH smaller files. If you don't have Photoshop, this one feature might pay for itself in bandwidth fees.

  3. Thanks. The bandwidth is free so that actually isn't the concern. Blogger lets you choose between small, medium and large when including shots in a post. I always default to large. I think it looks good as it is. I was just curious what others thought if anything.

where i work we have a gigabit connection (well, really OC-48 + some additional gigabit connections) to the internet.

my personal experience would be better if you rendered all the text as graphics.

perhaps you can stream uncompressed high-def too.

To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.
