One of the things I like about Gyre is that it separates the timing information from the note generation processes. ReplyDeleteWell, right now it's really tied to the Buchla 225e MIDI interface. I've been thinking about what it would take to make it more general. If I can come up with a good way to make it easy to map the outputs to arbitrary places without complicating the UI too much I may make it available.
ReplyDeleteThat may happen if and when I add support for a second MIDI->CV interface (I have a Kenton Pro-2000 gathering dust along with my other analog synths).
Oh yeah... then there's the issue of documentation.
