do any of those f****ers still work? i suppose not. id like to find the engineer behind those chips and... well, make him try to keep a juno 106 working.
put those up on ebay "as is" and watch the suckers bite. ;)
there's a post on vintagesynth by a guy who says he carefully melted off the glop top on his dying 80017a, then resoldered the components and got it working again.maybe Matt could do some experimenting...?
