Guess who this is. Via Jez. Previous post.

Update via their MySpace page (the answer as to who this/"I" is, is in the comments of this post):
"Well the band members vary depending on the country I'm in. FB USA is to feature Gino Robair (Electronic Musician Editor and drummer with various outfits including Tom Waits), Mike Brown (From Livewire Electronics- a CA based synth manufacturer) Eric Barbour ( A synth and effects pedal manufacturer who owns Metasonix- they do nice horrible products including The Wretch- a tube based synth, Scrotum Smasher and a fave- the yellow Butt Probe- it's yellow- has cute S&M cartoons on it, and it also has dung on it. Hat's off to Eric) Alessandro Cortini (He plays keyboards currently with Nine Inch Nails, and also is in an outfit called Modwheel Mood.) It's an interesting mix of Artists..."
Their influences are also worth a look.

  7. Umm, word is that's Ken MacBeth of MacBeth Studio Systems himself. The video features his M5.

  8. I heard that this is not ken macbeth at all... but rather some guy who is going around impersonating macbeth.

afterall, those who have met ken know that he is too serious and dignified for this sort of nonsense.

  9. I'll see if anyone on AH knows. I never judge a book by it's cover so as far as I know it may or may not be him.

  10. I had heard this also.

Apparently, the guy goes by the name Jack Sabbath, but uses various aliases such as "Eggy Stench" etc.

He owns quite a bit of Macbeth gear and seems to be obsessed with Ken on almost a stalker level.

    Scary...

  11. I'm also obsessed with Ken Macbeth and I can say with 100% certainty that is not him. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Ken Macbeth does not know how to use synthesizers, he doesn't even like them. He certainly does not own an M5, nor did he design it. The person in the video is named Fuckety Buckety. I spilled beer on him once cause his music was so terrible. Also, there is of course no M5 anyone on that recording (other why would anyone buy one!?)

hope this clears it up. I'm from scottland and Fuckety Buckety and I often eat haggis together and prank call ken macbeth.

  12. It reminds me of a band I saw back in the late 80s, early 90s named Artphag. I always wondered what happened to them, and lookie here, they have a MySpace page: link. Thank you Fucketybuckety for helping me find them.

  13. "At their highpoint, Art Phag tour with the likes of the Jesus & Mary Chain, The Membranes and My Bloody Valentine."

That was it. I saw them open for The Jesus & Mary Chain in LA.
