  1. i am relieved. when i first saw tesla coils used that way i thought there was something that didn't come up when i was studying electronics.
    it's actually very simple.

    it's pretty cool that polyphonic input translates so well through such a simple switch (zero volt detector).

    it needs an amp envelope input though. i'm not sure if the amp of that thing can be modulated but it will sound clunky like a typewriter until it's figured out.

  3. much better than the last video of this thing. Now I can build one, ya right, and electrocute my audiance or myself while playing the axelf or super mario theme. I've always wanted a a shocking sound, this ought to do it. Seriously, its pretty dang cool.
