NICE.
ReplyDelete(I have no idea what the synths/keyboards are).
I was a HUGE fan of this configuration! Pop Fusion! Woof! Best Keyboard oriented band EVER! underrated as all get out...
ReplyDeleteHere's a rundown of the keyboard rigs:
Roger Powell-
Custom Moog Modular. Later a Polymoog was added.
Ralph Shuckett-
Yamaha YC-45 organ, Arp string Ensemble, Hohner Clavinet, Roland early SH series synth
Moogy Klingman-
RMI Keyboard Computer 1, Fender Rhodes, Sound City Electric Piano, Korg Mini Korg synth.
Todd has an EMS Synthi Hi-Fli on the floor next to him.
Great clip! Great band! Great time! I saw this configuration a dozen times or so. Woof!
TR served me a margarita at burningman a few years back. nice guy.
ReplyDeleteBig Shame - Most of Roger Powell's modular was destroyed in a fire along with the rest of Utopia's kit. Those costumes can't have helped, they look pretty flamable to me.
