How much do these Acidlab synths cost and where can they be acquired?
ReplyDeletethe only thing missing from these tracks are nicely timed intervals of thick sludgy 4/4 bd dropped in. that was always the point where everyone sceramed during tracks like this. it just felt cool on a big system.
ReplyDeleteha, i'll see you at the speakers to the left of the dj.
acidlab bassline 2 costs 550 euro and is only available directly from www.acidlab.de website.
ReplyDeletePS.: the video was taken with a sony dsc-w5 digicam - it can't record any bass obviously. Next time I'll overdub the video with the regular sound
Most consumer digicams have a non-defeatable high pass filter on the mic for wind noise. Yeah, no bass.
ReplyDeleteOoof that Acidlab.de site is pretty sparse. What do I click on to buy the thing?
ReplyDeleteIt's built to order by the guy who runs the acidlab.de site (most things on the site are still about the first version which has been around for a while, similar sound but very limited sequencer) - you have to email klaus ["at"]acidlab.de to order one - only about 10 have been built and sold by now of the new version. Another edition of the "bombass" standalone synth (no sequencer, 2 VCOs, fast LFO etc) is also planned.
