i bought the first prophecy i saw. it sounded pretty good by itself but it sounded horrible when analog synths where also used in a track. the effects routing was stupid too. the dist was put between the osc and the filter. i found someone selling an sh-101 for 500 bucks. i sold the prophecy for 500 and got the 101.
ReplyDeletenever regretted it.
The Prophecy was good in its time, but I sold mine because of its terrible response to the knobs. Perhaps it was just the particular unit I had, but it always seemed to lag.
ReplyDeleteHorrible little thing!! Just does not sound right. There are so few new synths I'd consider buying and this is one i wouldnt own after demoing!!
