noiseprofessor's Xpander Demo
download here
"Moody demosong made with an Oberheim Xpander only. Recorded with multitracker to show off the possibilities for doing percussive sounds, which is often said that the Xpander can`t do this. Sure used some Delay in mixing process. Note: Even the drums & percussions are made with this synth."

Really very very good!!! impressed most definately!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - now the kicker...I have just gotten my hands on an Xpander from a garage. We seem to have gotten the power supply up and running, but the system cycles the LEDs and won't come up. Do you know of anyone who ever serviced these amazing units who can give us leads on what to try next?
ReplyDeleteI don't know myself, but try the Analog Heaven list. There are tons of knowledgeable people there. There is also an Xpander email list, but I don't remember where to join it off the top of my head. You can try a search for it or I'm sure someone on AH would know.
