ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing as anonymous #1. The only thing I would change is putting all the ports on the top or back of the machine.
ReplyDeleteI've been toying with the idea of making some sort of portable C64 with screen just for the Prophet64 (I have the cart, plus the midi module for it), but it's at the "only in my head" stage right now.
Anyway, really nice job!! =)
The Prophet 64 has nothing to do with the Sequential Circuits Prophet at all. The only thing that they share is the font.

nice enough, but i really dont get the location of the sync 24. either way the wire will be in the way. is there something im missing about this since ive never used this setup before?

Yeah, but the sx is a clunker! I was going to just attch one of those portable playstation lcds to the back of my C64, but I might have to reconsider after seeing this!

chris : i already got 2 P64 and 2 dtronics midi (1 red and 1 blue).. works great with my c64 / c64c / sx64 and c128d ! I'm now waiting for Firestarter's midi interface ! :)

ReplyDeleteMee too. But I have been waiting for a couple years already for this thing. I am starting to doubt if he will ever get it together and finish the design. To be honest, I don't really see it happening any time soon. He has bee talking about it for years with nothing to show. so far
