Prophet64 Meets MOOG
Remember the Prophet64? Here's a one built into a custom case with MOOG style knobs and small display. It was seen on sheebo's MySpace page. Via sequencer.de.

Haha, thats fuckin ace right there! Nice craftsmanship too. I'm inspired to rip this idea off and build one myself.
ReplyDelete10/10 perfect!
ReplyDeletewow
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing as anonymous #1. The only thing I would change is putting all the ports on the top or back of the machine.
ReplyDeleteI've been toying with the idea of making some sort of portable C64 with screen just for the Prophet64 (I have the cart, plus the midi module for it), but it's at the "only in my head" stage right now.
Anyway, really nice job!! =)
The Prophet 64 has nothing to do with the Sequential Circuits Prophet at all. The only thing that they share is the font.

We knew that. Thanks.
nice enough, but i really dont get the location of the sync 24. either way the wire will be in the way. is there something im missing about this since ive never used this setup before?
ReplyDeleteThat's cute with the wood. Don't you guys know about the SX-64 with the built-in color screen?
ReplyDeletehttp://oldcomputers.net/sx64.html
Yeah, but the sx is a clunker! I was going to just attch one of those portable playstation lcds to the back of my C64, but I might have to reconsider after seeing this!
ReplyDeleteThe SX is a total clunker! I wouldn't want to carry that to a gig, that's for sure. And this build has a lot more flair.
ReplyDelete5/16.....i mean 11. 11/10!!!
ReplyDeleteHi there, do those portable playstation lcds work on standard c64s, If so it would be a great start for a project like the on above.
ReplyDeleteAbout PSone LCD screen.. yes it does work!
ReplyDeleteHere is mine..

ReplyDeleteMee too. But I have been waiting for a couple years already for this thing. I am starting to doubt if he will ever get it together and finish the design. To be honest, I don't really see it happening any time soon. He has bee talking about it for years with nothing to show. so far
Ok, check this video.. a friend (Aximaxi) is betatesting FS midi interface !
