There's also an Oberheim 8-voice in there.
ReplyDeleteIts keyboard controller is built into the huge custom case (bottom manual) that also houses the Minimoog (upper manual). The eight SEM's are in a separate casing out of view in this video.

I wonder who put up that Eraserhead poster... That aside, I find myself listening to the old stuff more and more these days, probably due to the lack of passion and inventiveness in most of the new music I hear.
ReplyDeleteso remind me again...is it the Taurus pedals doing that peeeeooooowwww thing at the beginning? Sounds like filter FM sorta. Definitely a hall-of-fame synth sound.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone remember Trans-Am's "Firepoker"? Perhaps a nod to Tom Sawyer?
