Admin: Number of Posts on the Main Page Now Set to Two Days
I'm noticing the site is getting a bit slower to load. I think most loyal readers on the site actually visit daily, so I decided to cut it down to from 3 days to 2. You can always click on older posts at the bottom of the page, and there's a drop down menu for the archives on the right. Hopefully this will also help the Mac users out there that have seen issues with the site. Update: 2 days, not 2 posts. ;)

Note: comments that insult people will be removed. Critique on gear is allowed. Do not ask if listings are still available. Click through auction links to check yourself. Posts and pics remain for historical purposes. To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved (usually same day).

it might not be as fun to comment though. i don't follow any discussions past the first page.
ReplyDeleteplus safari works fine vids are sticky, get over it. who cares if you have to click more than once. they just look unresponsive.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading Matrixsynth via the RSS feed for probably a year now, and besides a couple issues, I've found it to be the perfect method. Rather than bother browsing the whole site, I can just check my list of updated/new posts, and click to read the ones I'm more interested in. It also ensures that I don't miss any posts, since they don't get marked as read until I actually acknowledge them. I'd urge everyone to check out RSS.
ReplyDeleteSafari might work fine; Firefox really doesn't, partly through having the slowest Javascript engine on earth, and partly because its authors apparently started before multithreading was invented. Whatever, the whole browser grinds to a halt until the page has finished loading.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, it loaded much faster this morning. Thanks!
I appreciate the change. It's definitely been a drag at times loading and re-loading the page...now it's working better for me! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLoads up great on iPhone Safari browser, fwiw. Even on Edge network... pretty snappy.
ReplyDeleteConcur with the FireFox user...it use d to kill the browser sometimes.
nice change, AFAICT, it's a positive change.
