ReplyDeleteI think all of the Electribes are very useful and versatile. I have an ER-1 and an ES-1 MK2. I sort of wish I had saved my pennies for an ESX, but the ES-1 is still a very handy box. If I ever do get an ESX, I don't know if I could give up that beautiful silver box (the ES-1)!

I too have an ER-1 mkII and an ES-1 mkII, I also wish now I had waited for the ESX or EMX as shown. I very much enjoy what I have and still have yet to Master all they are capable of. My Electribes are accompanied by a Korg Z1 (serves as my EA-1 and more) and Korg DVP-1 voice processor. Love my korg gear.
