keybdwizrd - Moog LP and Korg EMX-1

"Having some fun with the Moog LP synthesizer and Korg Electribe EMX-1 groovebox."

  1. The EMX is fun indeed, but I found it aggravating that the patches for each part are stored within the patterns instead of separately.

  2. For some reason the second demo reminds me of the Canadian TV show "How It's Made" on the Discovery channel in the US. You'd have to listen to the backing tracks during the show to see what I mean.

  3. The EMX is killer, the moog is ok, very over rated kit. The boy can play some licks though.

  4. The EMX can be used to make other kinds of music besides Trance you know. This whole piece sounds like one of those generic onboard demos. Come to think of it, almost everything KEYBDWIZRD does sounds like a corporate demo. Maybe he could get work at one of the bg Japanese companies. Sorry to be negative, but I much prefer the bloke who covered Charlie Daniels to this.

  5. The EMX-1 patterns in this video are factory "patches". I was having fun playing synth leads along with a few of them and decided to roll the video camera. Nothing more, nothing less. But alas, I am not much of a Charlie Daniels fan. :)

As an aside, ya just gotta love these anonymous people with big opinions. :)
