Interesting. I'll probably regret it once it's sold out, but I don't give my nanoloop carts enough 8-bit love to justify the crappo US/UK exchange rate.
ReplyDeleteSimilarly, has anyone ever wandered down the Gameboy/MIDI rabbit hole, and can recommend a MIDI cable kit for the gameboy? I wanna trigger its internal sounds externally, and fairly certain the one available through nanoloop only does sync and not note on/off, etc.
Yeah I agree. Looks pretty cool, but the exchange rate is a killer for us here in the states. It seems pretty reasonably priced though. Maybe I'll pick up a couple anyway, if I don't like it I can always sell it on ebay for 5 times what I paid! LOL
ReplyDeleteI seem to recall that the LSDJ cart could be controlled via MIDI. I don't know if the cable was ever commercially available.
ReplyDeleteOliver, the guy that designed nanlopp used to sell a midi sync cable a while back. I have no idea if he still does though. Check the nanoloop site.
ReplyDeleteI hate to ask. But can someone give me a link to a description of WHAT THIS DOES?
