Sweet, I didn't know Sixtoo was in to modulars.
ReplyDeleteCue the "rap is gay" crowd in 5..4..3..2..
ReplyDeleteOh wait, that's right. They're off being busy not making any money playing their prog rock riffs.
I dunno. Most of the synth guys that I know are into hip-hop, just not the commercial MTV/BET/Radio rap bullshit. Cats like Sixtoo are cool in my book.
ReplyDeletePS-I was also impressed to see the Doepfer modular!
ReplyDeleteSixtoo is way more than okay is my book! A true experimentalist with every piece of equipment he uses. His early work with the SP1200 was just so good. I just enjoy the way he makes music sound so apocalyptic science fiction noir.
