Ahh, the Omnichord, as seen being played by Devo in the infamous "Square Pegs" episode (1983) in which they appeared.
ReplyDeleteGotta wait about 6:00 into the vid to see it, and only to hear a single percussion noise coming out of it, but eh... the freakin' outfits and familiar faces make it worth watching, anyway.
square pegs episode?it hear like a very famous.and the ac power cord is 0.5mm2x2c maybe.
DeleteSome of these have MIDI outputs. It would be good fun to "strum" some guitar-like timbres with that strum plate.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try strumming one of these into something else too.
