Which ABC?
ReplyDeleteThank you, matrixsynth!
ReplyDeletePssst...that's the Australian ABC, not the American one.
ReplyDeleteI guess that explains why my tivo can't find it.
ReplyDeleteAha. Amercian ABC is showing an Elvis show on that night. :( Perhaps they'll use an EMS, but somehow I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteman i can't wait to see a torrent for this.
ReplyDeletei cain't wait to piracy this juarez.
ReplyDeleteThis was also on the Australian ABC: http://www.orenambarchi.com/AmbarchiLive.mov
ReplyDeleteNot synth-based, but incredible nonetheless. Why isn't American ABC(and the other networks)like this?
Thanks for the heads up, I'll be sure to tune in.
ReplyDeleteFace it - America will always be the land of cock-rockin guitars. :(
ReplyDeleteI saw the advert, and i think BBC's radiophonic workshop will be showcased, and the voiceover went 'electronic music completely changed the face of music technology' or similar. If I had a video tuner card, i'd record it for you folks. They showed footage of old rack gear, early stuff that looked like it was from the 50's, but also showed modern DJ's- the show might be similar to 'Modulations'.
ReplyDeleteI've got my sister DVD recording it, and my Mum hard disk recording it.
ReplyDeleteI'm super pumped about this one.
It was screened during the Melbourne International Film Festival last month.

ReplyDeleteeh yeah dude unless you haven't been paying attention the guys that made this movie are so elitist that they think only the film festival set and aussies should be privileged enough to see it. please don't sarcastically accuse them of anti-americanism kthx: it's simply rude.
apparently they used so much unlicenced music they can't sell 2000% profit DVDs of it without feeling like at some point they'll be threatened with a lawsuit, and haven't put a well-seeded torrent up.
i'm only to assume that these people think that fat wal-mart-shopping americans and argentinians have no business enjoying their art, even faced with the possibility of being paid for it, so maybe your original comment is correct to some twisted degree.
Yes everyone's against you, aren't they buddy? Now it's the elitist Australians. Damn us and our vegemite supremacy!!
