i liove going through different recordings of a song they're often at wildly different speeds. my favorite cure recording is pictures of you on show. it's really slow and crushingly sad. i actually had it for a while before i read the back and realized i was there when it was recorded. :)
ReplyDeleteother good bands for this are pixies and bad brains. one problem with bad brains though, the rick okasec recordings (rock for light) are sped up. as in the tape was sped up. lame.
On a roll man, you and i have a lot of the same taste in music.. WOW. right on..
