E-MU XL-7 "Alleviation" Lush FX Mix and Track Configuration

"E-MU XL-7 "Alleviation".I was asked about my track configurations,so that's what this video is all about.I re-programmed the song so that all tracks are automated for you to see.I also re-configured the FX and wrote some new parts because hey,why not?OCD : ) gotta love it.The Track configurations are:Track-1Kick,Track-2 Snare,Track-3 HH,Track-4HH,Track-5Kick,Track-6Conga Snare,Track-7Tamb,Track-8Perc,Track-9Bas s,Track-10Pad,Track-11Vocal Pad,Track-12Piano Chord,Track-13Piano Melodic,Track-14Clap,Track-15Piano Melodic,Track-16Guitar.Check out the interview at [link]."

    I'd still have an XL-7 today if there was any way to dump the sequencer to a Mac OS X program. E-mu never updated its E-Loader to run in Mac OS X, and one cannot sys-ex dump the sequencer. There's no other way to back up the sequencer on that thing.

    That said, by far it has been the best hardware sequencer I've ever used.

    I've got an Intel Mac these days, with the capacity to run Windows using Boot Camp. This may mean another XL-7 in my future. :D
