I love the Synergy. It's still one of the best digital synths TONALLY. Warm and punchy, certain sits well in a mix - not all thin and buzzy. Too bad about this one though - the keyboard only has two dozen sounds built in. You really NEED the cartridges or a KAYPRO computer with discs to make it viable. And this one seems to have the Tolex peeled off the bottom half. Some are Synergy II+ with MIDI...
ReplyDeleteAh - I reread the auction; no internal voices there. No sounds at all. Hmm... but it does have the MIDI option added, which is good.
ReplyDeleteTried e in a shop once in the 80's. Very nice, but the need for the Kaypro computer was a no-go.
ReplyDeleteIs there an editor/librarian for the MIDI version?
