  1. I clearly remember the degree of scoffatude and upward nose-turning that the Casio SK-1 and the Yamaha DX100 would inspire from the kool kids back in the 1980s. I also remember receiving scorn and snears for purchasing a Novation Bass Station and a Roland MC303 when they were new.

    The point is who cares if it is a "toy" or not. As long as it can be used to make cool sound/music... Isn't that what this is about?

    I suspect that the Kaossilator will some day be desired / loved as much as an SK-1 is now.

  2. but the mc-303 couldn't make a recognizable 303 line. thats why everone hated it. everyone was pretty excited about it until they saw it.

    if you go through the menu after this vid theres a japanese guy who throws out his ipod and hooks his kaossilator to his earbuds, he also shows off the neckstrap he got for it. he views it as what it is. a fun thing to take around.

    version 2 will have better specs.
