Amtron Oscillator

via Luca of ESP Records

"here is a couple of pictures of the latest addiction to esp-records studio. Unfortunatly I've not yet been able to find any info on this unit."

If anyone has any more info, feel free to comment.

  1. Looks like something that is used for making trains switch tracks.

  3. Looks like a pretty standard signal (or function, or waveform) generator like you'd find in most any electronics workshop next to an oscilloscope. They're for testing and calibrating various things. Basically an oscillator that is always on and you control the frequency with the big knob.

  4. run the output through a wave shaper or distortion box, maybe a dlay unit too and then send that to a gated audio-in sequencer like in the Korg ER-1 and use it for drum beats, sweep the sound while running the beats....tasty recipe
