To reduce spam, comments for posts older than one week are not displayed until approved, usually same day. Do not insult people. For items for sale, do not ask if it is still available. Check the auction link and search for the item. Auctions are from various sellers and expire over time. Posts remain for the pics and historical purposes. This site is meant to be a daily snapshot of some of what was out there in the world of synths.
Looks like something that is used for making trains switch tracks.
ReplyDelete"...pictures of the latest addiction..." i can relate to that
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty standard signal (or function, or waveform) generator like you'd find in most any electronics workshop next to an oscilloscope. They're for testing and calibrating various things. Basically an oscillator that is always on and you control the frequency with the big knob.
ReplyDeleterun the output through a wave shaper or distortion box, maybe a dlay unit too and then send that to a gated audio-in sequencer like in the Korg ER-1 and use it for drum beats, sweep the sound while running the beats....tasty recipe
