Ionic Performer
via this auction
"Ionic Performer Synth. Only 50-100 made."
See the previous posts via the MORE label below for more info on the Ionic Performer. In short it was a clone of the EMS Synthi with a push button modulation matrix vs. the Synthi's pin matrix.

Well can you rightly call it a clone? It seems to be more of an elaborate mod or repackaging of the insides of an actual Putney being passed off as an original instrument.
ReplyDeleteWell wouldnt the real Putney guts make it worth MORE?
ReplyDeleteIt's a repackage job. This one looks to be in bad shape. Expect to spend thousands to fix it.
ReplyDeleteI may buy it for spare parts if mine goes.
But it really is just an EMS 'Amerikanized' with a story behind it.
