I'm a Vangelis fan, but I never agreed about that Rotterdam concert, because it was a "non sense playback". It sounds exactly as in his studio recordings. A very bad issue in Vangelis excellent career. Maybe the best example of his improvisation techniques would be the french TV program "L'arbre de Vie", from 1980 (available on... you knows:)
