"Here is the new Analogue Systems rs430 Distortion module. Controls include: Drive, Mix, Signal 1, Signal 2 and Output level. Sockets: Drive CV-IN, Mix CV-In, Sig-IN 1, Sig-IN 2, and Output. There is a switch for Inverse and Non-Inverse. Its available in the U.S. at bigcitymusic.com and anloguesystems.com for everywhere else."

  1. No. That wasn't right. There was barely any audible change in the sound at all. What I played at NAMM was outright mean. When people derided that video for it being so top distorted throughout, now you respond with a soft light touch that doesn't even come close to sounding like what I did or what it's capable of. Don't make me come down there!

  2. Hi REwire. Please stop by the shop. I'd love to hear what you will do with the Analogue Systems rs430 distortion module in a quieter environment than NAMM. I realize it's bound to be something scary. ;-)

    The NAMM video was a little harsh for many listener's ears (mine included). I know this new video doesn't begin to show the full potential of the module, but I suspect most users will use it in a similar way to achieve beautiful, subtle harmonic distortion. A little added fatness goes a long way in most mixes.
