  2. This is probably one of those very, very rare occasions where the software version makes more sense.

    Actually, I wonder if this could control FM7 or FM8.

  6. 148 knobs in all, if anyone else cares. (For comparison, the Prophet 5 had 26 knobs, according to Wine Country.)

    Imagine operating a DX7 with only one slider and all those functions.

    I think that would've made me quit kraftwerk too. I believe it was something about studying those envelope operators in the Yamaha manual...
