wow, that definitely puts to shame all the talk about the complexity in programming in FM. and the knobs, knobs..knobs....i like knobs.

This is probably one of those very, very rare occasions where the software version makes more sense.

ReplyDelete148 knobs in all, if anyone else cares. (For comparison, the Prophet 5 had 26 knobs, according to Wine Country.)

I read once that Karl Bartos quit Kraftwerk after Ralf & Florian made him spend a year with that thing.

I think that would've made me quit kraftwerk too. I believe it was something about studying those envelope operators in the Yamaha manual...
