  1. I was excited about the Hybrid Elements until I visited the Radikal user forums. Boy are there some unhappy customers over there!!

  2. They all seem to be bitching because the Spectralis doesn't send external MIDI signals. Joerg should've just called the OS 1.0 when it shipped, instead of giving everyone the impression that the Spectralis is an unfinished product. Imagine the outcry if, regardless of feature set, the Virus TI shipped with OS .50. Everyone would be crying about paying to be a beta tester.

  3. i'm one of those disgruntled customers. we were all under the impression that 1.0 was to be shown at namm. two days ago he put up a post announcing this new...thing..was going ahead and there is no 1.0 os. and that he wouldn't be available to respond to anything until he gets back to germany. i love my spectralis' sound so much bit it's such a flicking shadow of what it could be that it's hard to take any more bad news.

  4. Yeah, damn these one-man synth builders who can't bilocate!

Sorry, but if you want any chance of seeing 1.0 at all, you'll have to let him make some money however he can. Because anyone visiting your forum will almost certainly go away without buying a Spektralis.

    Won't they?

  5. Synth folks can be some of the biggest cry babbiesa bunch of complainers, I hope Jorg don't take it too personal. Personally I'm glad to see more being added to the Radikal product line. The Speckis OS has not been abondend, just put on a bit of a hold. So break out your hankies and blow in for a little while.

  6. hey gwenhayfever and zemize: get bent. i have neverending respect for what jeorge is trying to do. the point is that there is some very poor communication going on to a some people who put their trust to the tune of 2500 bux in the thing. there is bound to be some griping.

  8. SH, how about you get bent, I don't bend.

    ~"some griping"~

    ?

Its not just at Jorg & Radikal, its anyone who comes up with an exciting piece of new gear. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. However there are a lot of babies crying over there too in that anouncement thread on the Elements.

  9. yeah, it' admittedly a LOT of griping. there are people who have waited many years longer than i have and they seem to be the most understanding. sorry, i don't really want you to bend against your will.
