ReplyDeleteyeah, i was just thinking the other day how LiveWire has had tons of cool stuff at NAMM that never seems to get released and then it shows up at the next NAMM. whats the point? put it out or stop making it look like your company has all this stuff coming out but its really not.

ReplyDeleteI have heard the AFG will be released within the month so at least thats something...but the Chaos looks so amazing I keep peeing my pants when i think of it
i guess on the up side is i can keep saving for the modules, the downside is other companies get that money when they release cool stuff
ReplyDeleteThe frequensteiner filter is so damn noisy, the noise floor is insane. I wonder if all his stuff suffers from this?

ReplyDeleteseriously, do you have an unfinished project in your life? it's probably closer to a birdhouse than a hand-built ridiculously complex synth module. what does mike owe any of you? you act like you paid for undelivered goods years ago. does anyone get angry when GM sends concept cars to trade shows all over the world or pays to have them featured in films? and that's a major corporation as opposed to one man who learned this stuff on his own, building modules in his kitchen. man, what is this world coming to?
and btw, when you finish that birdhouse or whatever, please post some pics, i'd love to give you a few pointers.

i stand by what i said. everyone who commented should chill out imho. it's pretty disheartening to hear mostly negative comments about such a promising thing, even if we did see it last year. we need to encourage and not scrutinize others, unless they're making bombs or more laws. sarcasm and humor are not the same thing and everything is not up for scrutiny. we've all become gong-wielding judges of a worldwide competition/reality show.
