Tactically, those backlit red buttons will give away your position. Also, all the keys need to be finished in black matte so as not to reflect any light. If they reinforced the inside with kevlar or ballistic plating, the synth could provide cover as well as concealment.
ReplyDeleteRoger copy.
ReplyDeleteI saw one of these in a store in Tokyo. They look even worse in person.
ReplyDeleteWhats the need to make something war-related?

ReplyDeleteIt's great for taking on deer and quail hunts too. You'd never know it -- but the classic 'hoover' sound is also a very successful deer call. Also, the phat 303 sounds are good bird calls. I hear Dick Cheney has a 303 with him on all of his Quail hunts.
ReplyDeleteI thought most keyboard players were invisible anyway. I am speaking strictly from experience. We never get the spotlight, and sound guys always turn us down in the mix. And chicks? Pssht.
ReplyDeleteHave I gotten off track here...?
I think they should call it the Donald Rumsfeld Edition.
ReplyDeleteWell, it could have been worse: imagine the Korg X50 Hello Kitty edition.
ReplyDeletere: Rumsfeld -- you could dub it "Shock and awful"
ReplyDeleteHello kitty would have been amazing for some serious Industrial aggression.
ReplyDeleteThis thing is just too horrible to be kitsch for another 10 years.
ARGH! I like CustomSynth's work (for example), but anything like this that obscures the user interface is an atrocity.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect controller for the KVR War Machine..

ReplyDeleteLOL!!!
For serenading deer.
