Improvisation on Space music style - Better Audio Quality
YouTube via gabriellehto. via RetroSound.
"I played this impro using (very easy) harmonies that I like a lot. The images from the universe, actually the universe itself always inspire me a lot. I used basically 4 synths; mainly; the old friend M1, controlling the Microkorg; MicroX for complement to the M1 sound and for effects like the MS 2000, that makes an AKS role. Tks in advance for your comment, Gabriel"

Is it me, or is Matrixsynth slowly turning into Retrosound.de's promotional personal website?
ReplyDeleteOnce in a while is fair enough, but it seems like there is almost three a day of his videos going up at the moment...
I know that complaining about a free resource like MS is nit-picky, and I really enjoy MS, but seriously - I get it, he likes to video himself playing with his synths. Cool - bung up a link from time to time and link to his site/whatever if you want to see more, and then get back to posting interesting, quirky synthy content!
Cheers Matrix...
I like it.
ReplyDeleteSounded nice.
I like the sounds synths make, regardless of who's making them, most of the time.
Anyway, this content is better than ebay postings, and since the USA is heading into economic collapse, it is nice to watch nice videos and forget about the tragic mad-max reality about to dominate our existence.
this sounds great... nice
ReplyDeleteIt all goes up folks. No discrimination. Part of the point is to show what is out there on a daily basis - ALL OF IT. If it does a decent job of showcasing a synth either visually or audibly, it goes up. I could care less if the majority of it comes from one person, actually kudos to that person, because if he or she wasn't doing it we wouldn't have it. Remember people, the focus is on the synths, not the people, not the auctions, nothing but the synths. What does a name or auction have to do with anything. Could you imagine if I stopped because of either? People that appreciate it, including myself, would miss out.
ReplyDeleteFair enough - it's your site, you can do what you want! ;)
ReplyDeleteRight, time to video myself doing three hundred bad copies of a famous bassline on every synth I can find. I'm gonna pwn Matrixsynth for months, muwahaha!!
No worries, I appreciate the effort you make in posting stuff - a little feedback is useful I'm sure ;)
Yes feedback is always useful, so thank you. Sometimes I'm on the fence on things and it helps me make a call. For example I used to put up EVERY SINGLE synth related video on YouTube. When I started the site it was fine because there weren't many, but now YouTube is saturated, so the bar actually has gone up a bit, believe it or not.
ReplyDeleteOh, all of the above applies to flickr shots as well, although they usually come in sets by individual users so in that case I put one up and make a note to click for more. I've raised the bar as far as what I put up for flickr shots as well.
ReplyDeleteHaving been posting flickr shots and YouTube videos from day one, it is amazing how much they have grown. There was a time when you'd be lucky to get one a week.
@ Ben
ReplyDeleteThank you
Surely criticism is always good, if it is constructional.
I do not have anything of it if my side am called. I do not earn to it a cent. Completely in the opposite. It is only just for fun.
Show you us nevertheless times somewhat.
Unfortunate that about this topic one talks here. I wanted actually that one Gabriel Letho`s marvelous synth video to discuss. :(
ReplyDeleteYep, this isn't even a RetroSound video. :)
ReplyDeleteRetroSound and Grabriel, this is a great track. Don't be disheartened by one comment. I get about 10k hits a day on average so don't worry about it.
matrix,
ReplyDeletedoes not disturb me at all. It does not have to please all. Who issues itself in the web with it is also confronted. That is ok.
I get each day very much positive feedback. There an individual opinion does not disturb me absolutely.
thanks :)
Great music BTW.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't as though you can't skip posts. I only watch 1/10th of all the videos myself. But there is so much content that I'm bound to find something very cool that I like nearly every day.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant. This music made my day. Thanks for sharing this (and posting it, Matrix).
