With an MS-20, the MS-50 is a LOT of fun. These were my first synthesizers. The full-featured VCO adds a lot; I used it with the binary divider and the extended-range VCLFO to get past the only-two-VCOs sound. Also, I love the zero-sustain outputs on the ADSRs - you can adjust the central cutoff frequency and the transient control of a VCF completely independently.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have the full Korg MS-xx/SQ-10 collection next to a full Roland System 100 setup.
I too love the MS-50. I have an MS-20/50/SQ-10 set up and it's great.
