Wot a foolish design.
ReplyDeletehar har?
ReplyDeleteApril fools?
ReplyDeleteI'd rather get a micromoog for around 500 usd.
Nice :-) it really is April 1 then.
ReplyDeleteDespite the calendar date and the odd
ReplyDeletephotoshop job, a somewhat 99% reissue of the original Minimoog would IMHO be the coolest thing Moog could do with all the simulations out there and that half-hearted Voyager OS retro thing...
Given the fad of the single oscillator sound there might been a market for this in hip hop a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteToo many keys.
ReplyDeleteI'd take one.
ReplyDeleteA far better product would have been a MaxiMoog ST, where all the dials go to 11.
ReplyDelete(ST = Spinal Tap, of course)
Can't say I or anyone I know would buy somthing like that. This has to be a joke.
ReplyDeleteAgreed... or larger footwidths at the osc... there is a video on youtube demonstrating a 128' pipe organ register, very funny.
ReplyDelete> Too many keys.
ReplyDeleteNot if they're microkorg-sized keys.
April Moogs everybody....
ReplyDelete42 keys, G - C...ties into the 42 all over the Moog site with the guitar thingy...
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm the only one who would buy this.
ReplyDeletei actually could see the value in this. if it had voltage control outputs and you paired it with moogerfoogers you could effectively have a modular synth.
ReplyDeleteI would so buy one of these @ around $500ish. I have always wanted a moog.
ReplyDeleteToo bad it's april fools day.
I'm still waiting for the SMS 2000.
ReplyDeleteI'd buy it even at $700...since most of the one osc synths that are good and vintage are $550-700 on ebay anyway.
