Waldorf PPG V2 VST deep house

"Just a quick demo song I made on the Waldorf PPG Wave V2 VST using Logic Audio V5 on the PC.
It's an ok plug-in, nothing great but not bad as for emulating the real PPG dream on.
It's not really a finished song or anything.
3x Parts PPG and the pad is side-chained with the bass drum
1x Part ESM mono synth
1x Tr-909 & 707
EXS-24 Drum shots"

I can almost make out the chord progression and synth sounds behind that kick drum ;)
ReplyDeleteGiven that the guy who created the VSTi had the real thing in front of him as he was doing it, for reference, I'd be interested to know how many years of playing time vinyljunkie07 has clocked up behind the keyboard of a real PPG; after all, surely a professional musician wouldn't so casually dismiss the labours of other professionals without being thoroughly sure of their ground...
