What about the Waldorf Gekko series?
ReplyDeleteI think they made at least two different ones in the middle of the 90ies: a MIDI Arpeggiator and a Chord Memorizer.
found some brief description here: www.synthman.com/waldorf/311107.html
I used to have an Oberheim Cyclone. It was a very unwieldy device and undependable. If you looked at it the wrong way, it would lock up. Maybe I had a early firmware rev, but I don't recall any of the Perf/x devices being successful. Absolutely the worst midi gear I've ever owned.
