Oh man, I really love this concept. This is really what I wish the Nord Modular would become. It seems unlikely that the Nord Mod series will continue past the G2 though :(
ReplyDeleteThat said, the Arturia sound never really did anything for me. It doesn't sound very unique, and its emulative efforts leave a lot to be desired.
That boot time is a bit silly. How do they justify that?
that thing is almost is big as the keyboard next to it. Does this thing play my itunes too?
ReplyDeleteHe, it's not actualy - it's a trick of the camera - hard to get it and other stuff in shot.
ReplyDeleteBut no it wont play iTunes. However it does say on the Arturia specs that USB 2.0 connection is capable of audio, so we may well see that it's becomes a DAW integration thing and a n audio i/f too.
Like the Virus Ti
It has that clinging Aurturia smarm.
ReplyDeleteWhen I listen to it, I want to use a Q-tip and clean my ears. Perhaps spray myself down with alcohol.
It is a tremendous effort. The UI looks pretty good, but sadly it's still got a strange arturia smarm sound. Better than their software, but odd still how it don't sound so great.
