I have the behringer version of this pedal. Its a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. If anyone's looking to get more use out of an old drum machine that has bad samples (like a TR505, 626), get the cheap Behringer BSY-600 for a third the price of a new SYB-5 and 99% same sound - they're both digital, BSY's got more knobs, SYB's got the Boss name and better plastic.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of digital. I heard a rumor once that the SYB-3 was analog. I never found confirmation on this though.
