KORG DVP-1

Samples and info at Mark Griffith's Music. "Korg Digital Voice Processor, released into the UK market in 1986. Combined Vocoder, Harmonizer, Pitch Shift and "internal waves". It doesn't as far as I can see have a carrier input. It has 8 "internal waves" that can be played via midi."

  1. I used to have one of these... very limited... didn't really like it much.

  2. I remember seeing one of these in a music store when they first came out - I was SO impressed by it...too bad it cost like $800 back in 86'. I think I bought my Casio CZ-101 that same year. Ah, memories!

  3. Besides it being limited, how was the sound quality? Did you use the vocoder? how was that?
