"8 voice bi-timbral analog and sonically very similar to the Sixtrak and Multitrak. The voices can be layered, split or used in Unision mode for absolutely incredible 8 oscillator stacked basses and leads... The original factory sounds have been reloaded. Includes a CD containing the Factory and Alternative Preload sounds from Wine Country."

    They were made in Japan for the Japanese market and are not rare there. I would guess that sales for a synth with the Prophet name and look would be a lot higher than say the Split 8 with it's styling.
