There's a whole bunch of MOTM in there as well. And quite possible some DIY.
ReplyDeleteThe red lines are most likely tape applied to the sides of the motm modules - makes it a little easier to tell where one ends and the next one starts. That's one of the big problems with motm format - finding the right knob in a sea of black can be tricky sometimes.
First off, while it isn't the clearest picture, those aren't MOTM modules. Well, I didn't feel like playing where's waldo, so there might be some in there, but generally MOTM is 4 rows of knobs/two rows of jacks, or 3 rows of knobs/3 rows of jacks for some of the 1U modules. And there weren't any modules I recognized.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I don't know of any "big problems" with MOTM format. Although I've heard people say it's difficult to find the right knob, most of those people didn't have MOTM modulars. YMMV.
