    How'd you get a prototype?

    Maybe this the stolen prototype from the NAMM show they discussed on the Sonic State podcast?

    If so, you've got some big balls or a little IQ. =)

    No, actually i'm a beta tester for akai. they generously let me have this as well as the mpk 25 to test.

    technically this one is probably a production model, but i dont think it has a serial #.
