Using a Gakken SX-150 with the Machinedrum, the MD is controlling the pitch of the Gakken which is fed back into the MD input for gating and filtering as well as a bit of reverb, delay and distortion.
No mods are required to the SX-150.
The mix levels of the Gakken are a bit inconsistant as I did not use any compression.
