"We have a fig tree in our backyard, and the fruit is getting REALLY good. We also have a bottle of Clear Creek Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) in our cabinet that we picked up on a recent visit to their distillery (clearcreekdistillery.com/). Combined with ice cream, we get a delightful dessert!
PS - a nice option is to drizzle a small amount of balsamic vinegar on the figs before you add the ice cream - makes it taste a bit richer!"
