first one i've seen in brown, all others seem to be in a tasty orange

movement 1 had a seperate monitor on top of a flat main unit"

  4. So that's where Dave Stewart's Movement ended up - with Vince Clarke. I remember the machine - Dave said he could also use it for his accounts - it had a particular sound but, as Vince says, was incapable of anything punchy and was no competition for the Linn & DMX. It did however, if I remember correctly, have some analogue synthesis capability and could sync to tape.

    I'd forgotten what a dreadful bunch of two fingered keyboard players everyone was in the 1980s!

  5. Not too much analogue synthesis I´m afraid.....just the odd filter cutoff or decay parameter on various channels.

    It has a very special sound though.

    As you say, not fat by any stretch.
