what is it that i'm not getting about these modules? when demoed, they seem to exhibit little to no timbral variances - just the same distortion or muffled drone.
ReplyDeleteThe R-52 is the weakest of the three Euro modules, the Waveshaper/RM being the best.
ReplyDeleteI agree, whats the big deal with these? It's all just distorted and muffled.
ReplyDeleteI think this Metasonix thing is so strange that the only people who will make it sing right are the GearWire folks.
ReplyDeleteLord knows they can't demo regular gear sensibly, so perhaps this paradox can be resolved by giving them a Metasonix R52 to demo.
Then again ...
